It is always very important for you to bring lightweight
clothing, so it may be layered. At many religious
monuments in Southeast Asia, appropriate attire that fully
covers your shoulders, arms, and legs is required, so make
sure that you pack long sleeve shirts and long pants or
long skirts for your visit. For your comfort, it is essential to
bring walking shoes that have been relaxed and broken-in.
If there is a cruise or other boat excursion on your
itinerary, we would recommend you to bring a windbreaker
or warm jacket, as it will be cold on the rivers and bays.
You may want to dress up to dine in the evening, but
formal wear is not required.
If you are travelling with a prescription medication, bring
sufficient amount to last through your trip with a copy of
the prescription and pack in your carry-on in the event that
you need immediate access or your luggage is delayed.
Here is a list of basic items for your Southeast Asia trip:
Your Passport (be sure to check the expiration date)
Multiple lightweight clothing both long and short sleeves,
and long pants or skirts
Windbreaker or light rain jacket
Elegant evening wear (if desired)
Two pairs of comfortable walking shoes
