Thailand's Festivals
Thailand’s many colorful, lively festivals are an incredibly
important part of everyday life. If you’re passionate about
immersing yourself in Thailand’s rich culture, there are few
better ways than a festival tour. At All Asia Tours, we offer
unique pre-designed itineraries and custom travel options
that whisk you to the center of the festivities and fun.
From joyful atmospheres that pulse with traditional music
and dance to delicious food and dynamic parades,
Thailand’s annual festival celebrations are certain to stay
with you for many years to come.
Songkran, also known as Thailand’s New Year and Water Festival, is the country’s most popular festival and takes place in mid-April. As the name suggests, Songkran is a 3-day-long water fight with buckets, hoses, and water pistols -- so be prepared to get drenched from head to toe!
The Chiang Mai Flower Festival takes place each year in early February. Picturesque Chiang Mai already enjoys stunning scenery amid misty mountains, so imagine the beauty of over 20 floats adorned with satin- petaled blossoms in every color of the rainbow. The festival’s parades also include traditional costumes and beauty pageant contestants looking to win the title of ‘Miss Chiang Mai Flower Festival.’
Loi Krathong or ‘Festival of Light’ is another iconic Thai celebration, held annually during the 12th month in the Thai lunar calendar. This unforgettably beautiful festival is known for traditional krathongs -- small, lotus-shaped baskets decorated with flowers, incense, and candles that float gently through the water.

"Fantastic experience, very well organized in every detail. Vietman is not rich of historical sites, but a country that entertain the visitor with all aspects of their culture. More than a tour it has been a holiday. I enjoyed a lot entertainment as painting mask and cooking lessons."
