Thailand's World Heritage
Thailand’s World Heritage Sites include cultural treasures
and natural gems. When you travel with All Asia Tours,
we’ll take you on a journey to these important, UNESCO-
recognized destinations so you can discover what makes
each site so fascinating for yourself.
History and archaeology enthusiasts will not want to miss Ban Chiang Archaeological Site. UNESCO recognized this prehistoric settlement in 1992 for its early innovations in rice farming. To date, more artifacts, including ceramic fragments and bronze tools, have been discovered in Ban Chiang than anywhere else in Southeast Asia.
The Historic City of Ayutthaya flourished as Thailand’s capital during the 14th through 18th centuries. Today, the site teems with crumbling towers, Buddhist monasteries, and sprawling palaces. Centuries ago, these architectural marvels were richly decorated with art, including painted murals.
The Historic Town of Sukhothai was Thailand’s first capital city during the Sukhothai Kingdom. This site, which dates back to the 13th and 14th centuries, boasts early examples of Thai architecture and urban planning. In many ways, Sukhothai is the cradle of Thai civilization. The Thai language originated here, along with Sukhothai-style art.
Dong Phayayen-Khao Yai Forest Complex, which sprawls across almost 143 miles (230 km), was recognized by UNESCO in 2005 for its natural value. This site is home to over 800 animal varieties, including endangered species. The area’s tropical forests also make for truly stunning landscapes.
Protected Thungyai-Huai Kha Khaeng Wildlife Sanctuaries, which run along the Thai-Myanmar border, house a host of plant and animal life. Here, you can spot diverse species including tigers, elephants, and banteng -- a graceful type of wild cattle.

Ms. Giovanna Corti
"Fantastic experience, very well organized in every detail. Vietman is not rich of historical sites, but a country that entertain the visitor with all aspects of their culture. More than a tour it has been a holiday. I enjoyed a lot entertainment as painting mask and cooking lessons."
