Vietnam's World Heritage
Without question, Vietnam is a country of priceless cultural
gems. In recent years, many of Vietnam's most iconic
sites have been awarded UNESCO World Heritage status.
As of 2018, Vietnam boasts of 8 cultural, natural, and
combined heritage sites. At All Asia Tours, we are
dedicated to providing our customers with travel packages
that highlight Vietnam's UNESCO-recognized treasures.
We know you’ll find them as inspiring as we do.
The Imperial Citadel of Thang Long was built in the 11th century by the Ly dynasty. This fortress was the hub of Vietnamese military power for more than 1,000 years and a center of regional political power for nearly 13 centuries.
Citadel of the Ho Dynasty was constructed from large limestone blocks. While the Ho dynasty was short-lived (only 4 years), this building remains an outstanding example of a more modern-style Southeast Asian imperial city. This relatively unknown heritage site is located in remote Thanh Hoa Province, approximately 95 miles (150 km) south of Hanoi.
Ha Long Bay is one of Vietnam's most famous natural wonders and home to over 3,000 stunning limestone pillars that tower over the sea. Truly, Ha Long Bay is natural beauty at its finest.
Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park, located in Central Vietnam, is celebrated for its grottoes and underground rivers. This reserve also teems with geological diversity including limestone, quartz, granite, and sandstone formations. Adventurous travelers and cave explorers will not want to miss this must-see destination.
Trang An Landscape Complex is home to spectacular limestone caves and quaint villages along streams. A tour of Vietnam's natural wonders would not be complete without a visit to the Trang An Grottoes, which are over 250 million years old!
The Complex of Hue Monuments was the Nguyen dynasty's epicenter. Here, you can see the Imperial City (Citadel) and the ruins of the Forbidden Purple City. While damage from Vietnam War bombing runs took their toll on the complex, it is still a treasure to see.
Hoi An Ancient Town overflows with cultural significance. Centuries ago, it was one of the Champa Kingdom's major trading ports and a site of extensive cultural exchange. Today, this well-preserved town exhibits an eclectic mix of Vietnamese culture, as well as Chinese, Japanese, and European influences.
My Son Sanctuary was the political and spiritual center of the Champa Kingdom during the 4th through 13th centuries. Here, you can find extensive Cham remnants and ruins, including temples dedicated to Cham kings.

"Fantastic experience, very well organized in every detail. Vietman is not rich of historical sites, but a country that entertain the visitor with all aspects of their culture. More than a tour it has been a holiday. I enjoyed a lot entertainment as painting mask and cooking lessons."
